Tenley slept through the night!!!

Thanks to Dr. Andrews, and her apparently genius expertise and advice, Tenley has been sleeping oodles better. Yesterday she took a 3 hour nap in the afternoon, so I didn't put her to bed til about 10pm. She slept all through the night until I woke her at 7:30am to feed her and take her to the baby sitters. Good job, missy girl! Anyone that is struggling with this, and is curious what the pediatrician's advice was, send me your email address and I'll share what is working for us! It felt AMAZING for ME to have a great night's sleep too! :)

where did i go wrong???

my baby does NOT sleep through the night. she is almost 6 months old. shouldn't she be sleeping a good solid 8-10 hours by now? this is what i've been told. i kept a strict feeding schedule when she was an infant, to the point that my mother in law thought i was starving her. :) but now that i am working PT, i've found it more difficult to do this. is this why she isn't sleeping well? she used to wake up once in the night. our trip to AZ was awful, she slept very little at night, and hasn't slept well since. she wakes up every 1 - 2 hrs. what am i doing wrong? tenley is a HAPPY baby, very content. she just does not like to sleep. YES i let her cry in her crib. :)

what are everyone's thoughts on the book, "Baby Wise?" i've skimmed through several chapters, and it makes me feel like a bad mom. there are things i do right. there i things i do WRONG. so i stopped reading it.

i think she may be teething, and have been hoping this is just a phase, but it has been like 3 weeks now, and nothing has changed.

I took a quick video clip with my phone today, because Tenley has developed a cute little friendship with our Yorkie, Jack. However, I was not expecting him to walk right up to her and give some dirty little doggy kisses!! YUCK!

here comes miss personality!

ok, tenley has changed immensely in the last few of weeks!!! it is absolutely bizarre to me! she is eating some "real" food, LOVES apple juice (as you can see), holds her own bottle (however only when she wants to), laughs when we laugh, laughs when SHE finds something funny, loves her new high chair- that we bought off craigslist for $40, screams her little bum off when we practice crib-time, loved the Hone's sweet home-made jumper, and is just becoming the funniest little girl. we are having a blast getting to know her personality! she's my little buddy and we love her SO much!! (although she is throwing a hysterical fit in her crib right now. bedtime training. LOVE IT.)

Most Annoying Sound in the World...

Tenley has this new "trick" where she makes this

awful noise that sounds like she is gasping for air.

She does it when she's bored... just exploring the

sounds she can make. And she is usually "bored"

when we are at quiet places, such as: church, the

dr's office, etc. I snapped this video with my cell

phone while we were waiting for the Dr. Crump in

the QUIET patient room. Not cute, Tenley! :)

The wedding was awesome, we are so grateful we were able to travel & attend. The sealing was beautiful, very special.

Our camera died, and we didn't pack our charger so once again we are pictureless. Ash, can you email me that cute picture of Tenley that's on your camera? Thanks! :)
