A fun picture I found...

camille, elise, me, chad, vanessa, ashley
I stole this picture from my sister Leah's blog because I had never seen it before,
and thought it is such a fun and cute picture with some of my siblings!
It was taken at Leah's wedding luncheon last year.
WOW Leelee it's been almost a year!

Bored.

So the last few weeks I have been dying to start my maternity leave, and have time to relax, and get things done around the house. Well, I'm on maternity leave now and I hate it. I am so bored! And as you can see in the pictures below, I am SO not getting things "ready" for the baby. When is that nesting phase supposed to kick in anyway? Haha. She isn't due until the 17th, but the Dr says my body is ready anytime, so who knows. I hate not knowing. But I have another appointment tomorrow, which I'm very excited about to see if we're getting closer! Being pregnant is getting annoying. We keep talking to her and telling her it's time to come out and meet us. But she is just so warm and cozy, and obviously ignoring us. :)

Thanks to Grma Lou for the ADORABLE pink rocking chair!!
That's the dresser that Scott refinished! His mom used
this dresser for all of her kids and babies. It turned out really cute,
and sure saved us some Washingtons. :)
Ok, I do have ONE thing ready... I've washed
all her newborn clothes, receiving blankets, and burp cloths.
Just have to load them up in the dresser now and pack her hospital bag.

Don't have her bedding done, but at least there are
clean sheets on her crib! Washed the mattress pad, the sheets,
and the sheet saver. I would have never thought to
do that on my own... thank goodness for Mother in laws!

Oh yeah.. and I'm drinking a Mountain Dew right now.

Hoping it will give me some energy to get more things done today? Haha.

THINGS TO DO TODAY:

1. Go to the bank. (Which is a REALLY weird task for me, because usually I'm working there!)

2. Install car seat.

3. Pack hospital bags. (Any ideas on what to bring? I want to pack light.)

4. Lunch w/ Vanessa @ 2.

5. Put away baby clothes & organize dresser, diapers, blankets, etc. BLEH

6. Start on baby's nursery/bedding.

7. Make some hair bows. Although my bows keep turning out retarded. I need some help. :)

8. Watch the season finale of the Bachelorette with Katie Hone & Katie Ward.. which we are VERY excited about!!

Who's bigger?

Who do you think is bigger?
Jack, or baby in my belly?
I'm gonna go with... baby in my belly.
Jack weighs 4.5 lbs.
And yes, this is just another one of Scott's
famous HILARIOUS snaps...
I guess our dog Jack thought it was real comfy
to curl up around my basketball tummy.
I hope he still likes his new sister when she comes out. :)

snow cones!

... Weston, Scott, Big Belly Shmelly, Vanessa, Natalie ...
We LOVE snow cones! I am crazy for snow cones, ice water, fountain sodas, banana milk shakes, ice chips, etc. We had a fun weekend with my siblings Weston and Natalie! They flew in to spend a few weeks with us girls up here in Ideeho. We had them here for 4 days, and now Heather has them in Twin through the 4th of July!

Belly pictures at 33 weeks..

Customers at work have asked me, "wow did you eat a watermelon for lunch?" I think to myself YES AND I DIDN'T EVEN CHEW IT.

Here's a freaky picture of my belly. Excuse the underwear showing (I'm sorry!). Someone told me the other day that my tummy is not a volleyball anymore, but a basketball. GREAT! :)
Ok so this picture was taken the night I got home from AZ. I was EXHAUSTED. It was late and I fell asleep watching TV while Scott was in the garage painting the baby's dresser. Apparently he came in and found me on the couch like this, wiped out. He thought it was quite comical and snapped a picture...
Now I'm almost 34 weeks into this, and have only 6 more to go. And 4 more weeks of work until my maternity leave starts. Not that I'm counting down. :)

Trip to AZ

So I went to AZ a week ago to see my family! It was cool and windy the whole trip.. I was bummed because I was looking forward to the sunshine! Camille graduated from high school, and Natalie had her 8th grade promotion. They both looked beautiful, growing up so fast! It was really fun to see family and friends, it had been almost a year since I have seen most of them.

The last 8 months of my life I have been ONE CLUMSY girl. I drop everything, which is lovely because it is such a chore for me these days to bend over and pick them up! Anyway, what do ya know, I dropped my camera on the FIRST picture I took on my trip. It is broken. I am SO MAD!! It was probably time to upgrade anyway, so we will need to get one asap before the baby comes. Anyway I stole some pictures from Vanessa and Heather to share with everyone...

Pictures from our wedding day: April 8, 2006

Here are some of our wedding pictures for those of you who haven't seen them. We got married in the Mesa temple on April 8, 2006. Some of these pictures were taken there, and some were taken the day of our reception in Boise. Enjoy! :)

Here's my big fat belly at 29/30 weeks. I know, it's huge. You wouldn't believe how many people ask me "are you due soon?" When I say no, they gasp and say, "oh are you having twins??" So I was paranoid until the Dr. measured me at my last appointment and said I am right on track. Better to be on track than behind, right? Funny story: At work the other day I had one of my famous rude customers at my desk, and he was totally talking down to me and I was SO angry inside! I was trying so hard to act pleasant and professional, but it was so funny because the baby could TOTALLY tell I was upset! She was kicking harder than I've ever felt, over and over again, even after the customer left for about a half hour. I asked a coworker about it, and they said the baby was probably getting an adrenaline rush from my high blood pressure and heart rate because I was so ticked at this customer. I'm sorry little baby, I'll try not to make you so mad again!! :)

Here is the fabric for her nursery ---------------> Bright and fun! The doctor says she is a "happy girl" so this color scheme should be quite fitting. :) I'm taking the day off from work tomorrow, so hopefully I'll get started on her room before I get too miserable and disfunctional.

We picked out our stroller & carseat! Cute huh?

Life with the Hurds..

Surprise! It's a girl! These pictures were taken right after our 20 week ultrasound. I thought the ultrasound appointment would NEVER come. :) I was dying to know the sex of the baby. We just figured it was a boy because all of our friends convinced us it was. When the nurse told us that it is a little girl, Scott asked her "are you sure? Like what percentage would you say girl?" When the nurse replied with 95% I think he was finally convinced. haha! My family, however was not shocked at all. My dad says, "Girl? That's all this family can make!"

This is me pregnant at 12 weeks. We told everyone at Christmas, and it was SO FUN! Now I'm almost 30 weeks along and ginormous!! She is due July 17th. I will post more pictures soon!
