2nd trimester is so much better than 3rd.

I have been craving Jamba Juice the last week or so. Maybe today is the day. :)

First of all, doesn't it seem like I was JUST blogging about being miserable when I was pregnant with Tenley? I can't believe how fast time goes by, and that I am here again. Thanks for all of your nice comments on my baby bump.. however that "cuteness" has ended! 3rd trimester has hit my body hard, and I am fat, swollen and lazy. So don't expect anymore pictures of me until this baby is born. :) Then you will be bombarded with newborn pictures. Fair?

P.S. I will be in Arizona around April 27-May 1st (exact dates not sure yet) for my sister Vanessa's wedding... Hope to see some of you!

We had a fun weekend with family visiting! It was unusually nice, and warm for an Idaho February! Vanessa went through the temple, so my dad flew up for the weekend. Heather and her family also came up. We mostly just chillaxed, visited, and ate. Right up my alley these days. :) We didn't do anything romantic as a couple for Valentine's Day, but we spent the entire weekend with people that we love. Zach and Scott went and bought all the fixings for home-made fondue. A chocolate pot, carmel pot, and lots of goodies to dunk. (Again, no picture of this to share.. I pretty much looked like a chubby chipmunk with a mouth packed full of nuts.) Anyway it was fun to be together with family, and has me already looking forward to our AZ visit. Traveling with 2 under 2? Not as exciting. But seeing family and friends, yes.

Our Sunday Best!

11:00 church gives us more time to actually get ready for church and look half-decent. :) However, adjusting Tenley to the new time has been really awful. Nursery is right during naptime. Anyway, we'll figure it out. Don't you think Tenley looks really cute in yellow!?

31 weeks.

Date Night!

Me and a friend in the ward started swapping kids every other weekend so we could do DATE NIGHTS with our hubbies! It has been sooo great! Last weekend was our turn for date.. and we went out for fondue! We couldn't afford to do the entire meal this time, but ordered a cheese fondue pot and a dessert pot. It was relaxing, romantic, and lots of fun! We had lots of funny conversations and totally enjoyed each other's company, it felt like we were dating again. :)

Aaaaand a random picture of miss T... sharin a root beer with Dad.

ORANGES.

We have been SO into oranges this week! Wal-Mart's "California Oranges" are so juicey and delish! Scott and I fought over the last one today. (P.S. I won.) :-) But doesn't it look amazing?

Some of My Family Visits 11-09

Left to right: Elise, Vanessa, Weston, Mallory, Sydney, Leah, Natalie, Tenley, Me, Heather. Some of my younger siblings flew up for Thanksgiving, and we had so much fun hanging out! We mostly just ate, laughed, and played games. Thanks Heather for the AMAZING Thanksgiving feast!! Here are some pictures of us at Chucke Cheese. My sisters made me crawl into the kiddie playground and go down the side. Ok, ok- they didn't make me. I did it voluntarily because they dared me and were laughing at my ridiculous pregnant maneuvers.
Idaho friends: I spy with my little eye... How many red-heads in this picture??

Quick entry & thoughts.

So... I am getting pretty excited to have a sweet little newborn, and to meet this little girl. HOWEVER, on the flip side, I am more nervous to have a newborn AND toddler to care for. Bittersweet I guess. Anyway, it will be here before we know it. New Jonesy news, my sister Vanessa got engaged this weekend to Nolan Hatch. Exciting! They plan to get married at the end of April. Because of this, I am reeeeally hoping for a March baby! Do you think begging my doctor for an induction will work? Hehehe. One week early would be March 29th. Is that too much to ask? :) Man, that seems just around the corner. Our baby name hunt continues.. Scott and I just can't agree on much this time! I don't think we could name her until we meet her anyway, so I guess we'll just keep working on our list of options and name her at the hospital. That's what we did with Tenley. However, it was just as hard to pick a name the day after she was born! I wonder if this baby will have red hair??? I am guessing she has light brown fuzzy newborn hair. And her ultrasound looks like she might have my nose. We'll see! I can't wait to find out how cute she is! So as long as plans and dates don't change with Vanessa and Nolan, I will be in AZ the last weekend in April. Hope I can see some of you old friends! And can't wait to be with family.

I can't believe Christmas is this week!! I have been looking forward to it a lot this year. All of my big plans for baking have been dissolved, I was sick with a cold this week and just felt so lazy! Maybe I can get some traditional Christmas Eve baking done with family on Thursday. :) We didn't spend very much on Christmas this year, but I found some really perfect gifts that I am excited to give! Tenley is getting practical things: a training potty, sippy cups, and a couple toys. One of her toys is play cars... She loves playing with boy things like cars and balls. So I looked online for little girl cars, and couldn't really find anything. But combing through Walmart this week, I came across a cute little animal/bug car set for $10. I'm so excited! Anyway, I Figure I better take advantage of the cheap and practical things while she doesn't know what presents are. :) I love Christmas. I try to focus on the true meaning, and on Christ's life, but sometimes it is so hard. The world is totally distracting from it. But I have been able to feel the Spirit of giving and helping. Like the guy at the Jack in the Box window that gave me my food for free. Haha. :) Anyway, here is a sweet little Christmas video clip my cousin Kimberly sent to me:

We didn't send out a Christmas letter, because I just never know what to write in them. But please know that we love you all, and hope that the fresh new
year brings nothing but happiness, success, and joy to you and your families. Have a Merry Christmas!
