What We've Been Up To...

It has been a while since I really blogged.
Aaaaaah, here goes....
Ellie is CRAWLING now! She is almost 8 months old. She is very busy and gets into everything. She has been crawling for 8 days and has already eaten: paper, leaves, and dog food. I ended up weaning her early and put her on sensitive formula.... she is sleeping better and is so much happier, not colicy at all. Whewww! She loves to annoy her sister, and gets pushed out of the way quite frequently. She is becoming more aware of her surroundings and loves attention. She is still a momma's girl though. :) She has brought us so much joy, and we are grateful for this little girl every day. And I know I am partial, but I think she is pretty darn cute too!

Halloween...

Tenley is getting big! She is 28 months now. She is a little bit delayed, and sees a speech therapist once a week. She is making progress that may seem slow to others, but as her mother I am totally thrilled with every single miniscule thing she learns! I worry so much about her, and pray for her a lot. She is learning so much. She is very sweet and loving, but silly and nerdy too. When she plays with her puzzles, when she puts a piece in the right spot, she says to herself in the sweetest little voice, "uh-huhhhh" in approval. She loves her baby sister and mauls her with hugs and kisses. They are starting to play together and fight together. It's pretty cute! Tenley loves nursery. LOVES. Her nursery leaders are a-ma-zinggg! They are two of the nicest grandma aged ladies in the world. And Tenley is their favorite- just kidding. :)
Aaaah, Tenley is my favorite little two year old and red headed sweet girl!
Holiday shopping open house...
and "just" cupcakes for dessert.

We have been loving the beautiful snow! We have since gotten a snow suite for poor little T... but she didn't mind the cold one bit, we had to drag her inside screaming and fighting when she was evidently too cold. We've been running our fireplace, drinking hot cider and white hot chocolate, and even put up our Christmas tree early. :)
Wow, this is turning into a long update. Two more quick things....
1) We are going to VEGAS in January! With NO KIDS!!!!! Scott and I have never been on a vacation alone, not even a honeymoon. I have been working hard with my side business Cents of Style this month to pay for our trip. & I did it! We are very, no- VERY excited to go!
2) My sister Heather and I are in a city volleyball league this winter. It is soooo much fun!!! But man, I am out of shape! My body is not what it used to be and I am figuring out what it can and can't do now. Haha... I will get there. Some day. :) This picture made me smile.
There you have it, you are updated!
Happy Holidays to everyone we love...

My FaVoRiTe Smells!

I have finally decided to sell Scentsy because I love it too much! Here are my current FAVORITE smells and why--

Skinny Dippin: "Fresh green apples perfectly harmonized with refreshing melons and juicy pears." This is Scott's fave, and not just because of its name! ;) It is a rich, happy smell that the whole family enjoys. It is actually part of Scentsy's Favorites Collection.

Blueberry Cheesecake: "Thick, rich, NY Cheesecake with a light graham cracker crust and delicious blueberries." I love to burn this Scentsy because it makes my home smell like I'm baking something delicious! It has a thick aroma, I can smell it when I open my garage, yet it is not too strong. YUM! There are loads more of delicious choices in the Bakery Collection.

Winter Wonderland: "Exhilarating blast of a frosty mint breeze." This Scentsy became one of my favorites when I was pregnant with Elliotte! It makes me think of the holidays, crisp air and fresh fallen snow. The hint of sweet mint is a clean smell that soothed my sick tummy. Anything from the Fall & Winter Collection will bring the warmth of the holidays into your home.
What are your favorites, and why?!

You can view the current products here. Make sure to check out the package deals for extra savings! If you have not tried any Scentsy products, and would love for your home to smell fantastic, you have got to give it a shot! I truly think it is the best product in its class, hands down.

Let me know if you have any questions or would like suggestions. If you find something you need, you can order right off the website. Or just let me know & I will place the order for you! I have samples of the smells at my home. But if you are unable to physically smell them, I would love to help you pick some sure faves!

Now, enough from the saleswoman! Would you like some current pictures of my family?? We attended two family weddings in the last month, and I will have some pictures from both very soon! Scott's sister Sherelyn married Dave, his brother Justin married Sarie, and my sister Heather had her baby! We have had a fun month with family!!! And cannot wait for the holidays! But boooo for cold weather. :) Will post pictures soon! Ciao.

It's hard to put them to bed when they look so cute and cozey!

Ellie's first bites of rice cereal. Hmmm... She would rather have milk. :) We will try again soon.

It took help from cousin Syd just once before T figured it out on her own.

Friends and cousins met to play..
Cousin helpers opening lots of cheap presents, and chubs sitting in her bumbo watching.
