new job

i started my new job today! now i work at the same place as scott doing some clerical work and sales assisting. in fact tomorrow i get to go to a job with him and "observe." funny! i work from 8am-12 and the sweetest lady in my ward watches tenley. she lives one street over, and it is PERFECT. thanks jen, you're the best! anyway this picture is of me and tenley cuddling when i got home from work. i think i probably missed her more than she missed me! :) she is sporting her famous expression, which scott kindly refers to as "the jones glare." it's our deep set eyes, not our fault! she is very warm and content, i promise, but she just gives the dirtiest looks sometimes! :) impressive, tenley.

sorry so many pictures at once. and i know some of you might be sick of seeing pictures of the baby, and none of me and scott... but i have to post all of her pictures so her out of town family and grandmas and grandpas can see her!! which reminds me, we are coming to AZ for thanksgiving this year, and i am so excited! we haven't spent a holiday with my family since we were married, so it will be lots of fun. scott is in for a shock, "higginbotham" thanksgiving is quite different from "hurd" thanksgiving! one word describes the difference: paper plates. :) however, the food is AMAZING at both! anyway i'm babbling... enjoy the pictures! the top one is the most recent, i took it today before church. her cheeks are SO CHUBBY (and kissable, as you can see a few pictures down, with daddy.. he can't resist those chubba chubbers).

my autumn hair-do...

i decided to go low maintenance hair color this go 'round... all brown with a splash of auburn/red.



everyone always asks "who does your hair, who does your hair?"
my sister in law sherelyn does! she does a super job, i get compliments
all the time. :) if anyone wants her # let me know!!

fun family visit

Tenley's First Portraits...

we went to JC Penney and had Tenley's "newborn" pictures

taken last week when she was 4 weeks old. they are adorable!

we ordered tons of prints, and will share when we get them back.

(note: i was NOT dressed for pictures that day, hence the ponytail,

but the photographer basically forced me to jump in a couple of the

pictures. i think she knew i would buy one. ha!)

we had TONS of fun this weekend visiting with

heather and zach, and playing on the snake river!
