independent

i love that tenley can entertain herself now. i.e., right now, she is just independently playing away with her toys. i love how she sits and looks into the toy basket like, "hmmmm which one should i play with??" and it always makes me smile to see which one she chooses. then she'll stop playing and come pull herself up to the couch by me (like in the pic above) and smiles, as if to say "hello momma!" and then goes back to playing. i think she knows how to say the word "hi." but she usually will only say it when our doggy jack comes up to her, then she'll smile, reach out her hands, and say "hiiii." it's cute. she is a funny little girl, and we have lots of fun!
